The streetscape along the stretch was documented to identify the elements that created hindrances along the elevations of the heritage buildings.
After which, a building was chosen from the documented streetscape, for an in-depth structural condition assessment. In this case, a building along Horniman Circle, Botwala Building, was selected.

Structural Assessment - Front Elevation
Discolouration (Blackish Colour), Ficus Growth & Hoardings are the elements that are disturbing the elevation. The AC units coupled with the metal grills are also a cause for the crowding.
Structural Assessment - Side Elevation
This can be defined as a sort of service side for the building. Most of the kitchens for the restaurants in the building open up from here. The services for transported goods is also done from here.
The elevation here is bland compared to that of the front. The discolouration of the walls also added to the dullness.
